Please read the submission guidelines before submitting an abstract.
- Abstracts must be submitted online only through the website.
ABSTRACTS submitted by email will not be accepted. - It is possible to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or for a poster presentation.
- For Oral presentations: Presentation length is 7 minute followed by 2 minutes for relevant questions.
- Abstracts presented by residents who have never travelled to the RSNA meeting can be submitted to the Michal Meidan award. In order to submit your presentation for Michal Meidan award, please select the option in the submission form.
- The Scientific Abstracts Committee will decide whether the abstract will be presented as an oral or poster presentation, taking into consideration the author’s preference.
- Abstracts must be submitted by the deadline announced. We will not consider abstracts received after the deadline.
Limitations:
- Prior to submitting an abstract, the presenting author should ensure that all co-authors are aware of its content and agree to its submission.
- Radiology residents may submit abstracts for consideration for the Michal Madan Prize.
- Abstracts that have been previously presented or published should be noted accordingly.
- The abstracts must be submitted in English.
The abstracts should be written in clear English, with accurate grammar and spelling. - Conflicts of Interest Disclosure: Abstract submitters are required to disclose conflicts of interest on their submission form.
Please prepare the following information before you begin:
- Presenting author’s contact details:
– Full first and family name(s)
– Email address
– Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country
– Phone number - Author and co-authors’ details
- Preferred Presentation type: Oral/Poster presentation
- Abstract title – must be in UPPER CASE and limited to 25 words.
- The abstract body should not exceed 300 words. Inclusion of tables affects the word count.
- The abstract topic should be selected from the list of topics
- There is a maximum file size of 500 KB for the image. There is a maximum pixel size of 600 (w) x 800 (h) pixels for the graph/image. You may upload only 1 image in the following formats: JPG, GIF, or PNG.

Conclusions - Please use only standard abbreviations. The first time an abbreviation appears, place it in parentheses after the full word.
- It is prohibited to include patient names, hospital ID numbers, or any other identifying information in submissions.
- To submit your abstract, click the SUBMIT button at the end of the process. After the submission deadline (August 15 2024), changes to your abstract will not be possible.
- After submitting your abstract, you will receive an abstract ID number via email. All correspondence regarding the abstract should reference this abstract number.
When submitting an abstract, you will be asked to confirm that you agree to the following:
- The information contained in this abstract has been previewed by me, and all information is accurate. The content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission, and I am aware that it will be published as written.
- When an abstract is submitted, all authors consent to its publication (e.g., on the congress website, in the program, in other promotional materials, etc.).
- The authors should disclose any financial information relevant to this submission.
- Abstract Submitters warrant and represent that none of the information and content they provide to ISRA and Kenes Israel (Hereafter: the “Organizers”) infringes upon any third party rights, including but not limited to privacy rights and/or intellectual property rights, nor the publication of such content by the Organizers on the internet or otherwise.
- By submitting an Abstract, the Abstract Submitter grants the Organizers a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive license to reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the Content.
Criteria of the Dr. Michal Meidan Abrahami scholarship for outstanding research work of a doctor specializing in radiology
The scholarship is awarded on behalf of Dr. Michal Meidan Abrahami, a resident doctor at Wolfson Hospital, who was killed in the ‘Cafe Apropo’ attack on the eve of Purim 1997. Michal had a professional dream of participating in the leading professional conference in the world, the Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Michal did not get to fulfill this dream but this scholarship makes it possible for resident doctors in Israel to fulfill her dream.
The scholarship is funded by the generous donation of Siemens Israel. The scholarship offers support for the resident’s travel to the RSNA conference in the following year after winning the award.
The scholarship is intended for the doctor’s first trip to the conference.
Eligibility to apply for scholarship:
- A doctor specializing in radiology in a track approved by the Scientific Council in Israel.
- The doctor has served as the leading and central researcher in the process of the study and carried it out in practice.
- The doctor appears as the first researcher in the abstract submitted to the conference.
- The doctor personally presents their work at the conference.
- This research work was not previously presented at the conference of the Association of Radiologists in Israel.
- The candidate has not yet participated in the RSNA conference
- Preference will be given to interns at the end of the internship or a young expert in his first year
- The doctor will continue to work as a doctor in Israel in the twelve months after winning the prize.
Judging by the chairman of the judging panel: Dr. Ahuva Grobstein
The team of judges includes three to four members, from different hospitals in Israel.
Criteria for choosing the winning work:
- The quality of the research work, the scientific contribution, originality
- The researcher’s contribution to the research
- The quality of the presentation of the research work at the conference
- The contribution of the prize to the professional advancement and enrichment of the intern
